Hey guys, sorry for starting a thread in your forum but couldn't find one on the topic.

Thought anyone could post their questions about supercoach or dreamteam in here.

I was wondering what the liklihood of McGlynn being in your best 22 would be this year??

Benny will be in the running for Crawfs Wing/bench spot along with Tuck, Morton, Muston. He is probably 1st in line if he can perform well in the NAB cup as he proved that when he was fit he was a very usefull addition.

You guys have got a tough team to crack into so was a bit unsure about him!! Has he had a good preseason so far?? Whats the liklihood he'll get 22 games this year??

Hows Hodge and Lewis injuries progressing??

I don't do SC/DT but I think Benny would be a bit of a gamble. Plenty of competition for the spot he'd be going for. From everything I've heard Hodge and Lewis should be ready for round 1.

Just a question on Ellis and that injury(?) havent heard much about it. Think he is set for a big year, so just wondering on injury status and how he is traing (if he is training).

Should be right for Round 1 mate 1 of many in Rehab group ATM!

Did Renouf get a suspension or will he br right for rd 1?
Also, how has Buddys pre season been?

Renouf got suspended for some NAB cup games but will be right for round 1 if selected, by all accounts Taylor is working very hard to try and get his spot back. Franklin had some surgery early in the off season but is back in full training by now I believe.

Unless McGlynn has improved his disposal he'll be in and out of the team for mine.

Talk about raising a red flag, but here goes...is it just me or does young Lance look a little short of condition at the moment?

If I'm right he has an excuse given the shoulder surgery off season but still...

Then again maybe I'm just FOS.

Second that. Picked him straight away when I saw his price, then realised that he's probably not even in your 22. How's he looking and what are expectations? Also will Jordy Lewis recapture his stellar 2007 DT form?

I think McGlynn will struggle due to the competition from Morton, Muston, Tuck and Whitecross all vying for the same spot and the aforemention all seem to have better disposal.

I'd say Morton, Tuck, McGlynn, Muston, maybe even a Dowler or Shoenmakers and probably a few others are all competing for one or two spots as bench midfielders or wing/HFFs. It's very hard to say who is ahead or behind until we at least start seeing some NAB cup form.

As for Lewis, I get the impression he was asked to play a slightly more outside role in 2008 than he did previously. Certainly he was at less centre bounces and was out by the wing more. I'm not convinced that's his best position, although he did okay. If Hodge stays down back like he was late in the season maybe Lewis will move back inside and someone like Morton/McGlynn/Muston will be doing the outside work? Again, impossible to tell until we start to see how they line up.

how's Muston going health wise guys? Has always struck me as such a talented player who just needs a bit of luck. How's he looking for 09?

Muston is in full training and looking good, but the same can be said of last pre-season and he only lasted 1 or 2 NAB games. Even if his knee holds up (which we all hope it will) he's in that block of players competing for a few spots, and has had two less years of playing since being drafted than most of them. In the few games he managed last year he was even with Morton and Tuck for mine though, but those guys have since played AFL games. My feel is one or two of that block of players I mentioned in my previous post, plus Whitecross, maybe Stokes, will end up player most games and be huge DT steals, but how the hell do you pick which one?

Bailey is still in rehab, and I can't see him playing even VFL reserves until mid year.
