Quick Question RE: Port Adelaide

Just wanted to get the general feeling from people here. For me it would be dissapointment we blew a chance to move to the top of the AFL.

I'm pretty happy with the way everything has panned out. It was always going to be a tough ask for us to beat Sydney at home, especially without Gardy and no one really expected Port to lose so it's better to be 2 points behind, than 6.

i'm pleased that a side like geelong (that is a side that plays a similar style to us) were able to show that they are not unbeatable.

we play them in 2 weeks. next week they should take out their angst on the western bulldogs. the week after we should be able to take it up to them at footy park.

Geelong are good but Port are better

In 2 weeks time we can really assess where we're at against Port in Adelaide

Regarding how everything panned out on the weekend, im not too unhappy, at least we remain near the top of the ladder with only 1 win between us and top spot

That's two opportunities to go top we've lost now: first one was v Doggies (needed a win and a little %), now v Sydney.

Very disappointed that we have missed the boat twice in being able to jump to the top of the ladder. Still, lucky they haven't got a 6 point lead over us and that a big win next week will keep us in the hunt.

Well it was only after the weekend that I really worried about it. All I wanted was a win, I didnt care if Port won or lost but as it turns out it was probably better that they did as it keeps us just half a game behind them. If both teams take care of business this weekend then the clash in a fortnight will decide who stays or moves to top spot.

Im more annoyed that Adelaide, Freo and Sydney all won closing up the gap from 2nd to 6th. An errant loss here or there and we could see a fall from grace. Must win game this weekend.
