I clearly identified inside mid. You know, the area where Melbourne embarrassed us in the 2nd last week. You know, the role that Thommo is presently our worst performer per minute/stoppage at. Every competitor for Lyons spot is presently fit and in form in the 2's. Mackay, on the other hand, has been blessed this year with injury and fitness ruling out all his experienced competition.

Look mate, you won't see it until it happens. It's nothing new, it's how poor a judge you are when it comes to mediocre plodders or out of form experienced players.

That's not what you said. You stated this week was best 22 week. OK, Brown missed through injury and was replaced by Hendo, but once that reverses, you've got your best 22 that you were so keen to declare.

Not another Vader classic like, "no I was right, I just forgot to remember that Reilly as a half back flank is expected to defend. So do you think Seed will remain in the 2's after he's got this game under his belt? Are you on Vader's train that it will be Lyons making way if Seed returns? If not, what's your prediction if Seed returns next week?

I can see Seedsman coming back in ASAP ......but he IMO is like Matt Crouch early this season ......he may have to wait for that opportunity, which makes players hungrier.

I don't think there's an automatic change to get Seedsman in .......in part it will be interesting to see where the club settles Atkins? .....wing or as a mid? .....if he continues to develop as a mid, that free's up a wing and exposes a midfielder to be the out ?

But its interesting that normally there's an injury that opens the door without the need for it to be forced open .....who expected Brown out this week ?

Everyone's role is now based on form .....we all know the 3-4 players most at risk, and that does include Mackay
