Sorry man but as much as you want this to be true it ain't
and u support the best club in the land but ur dreams are to go to stinky victoria and help one of those clubs?? shame!!
If you read the last bit I said
in Australia, which is true. The A-League has no money compared to the AFL, hence having pretty average players compared to the rest of the world. I've just done an assignment on this actually, the AFL draws 5 or 6 times more people in a year than the A-League therefore being inferior. Regardless of all this, I view soccer as a shit and boring sport which is my opinion. No-one will ever change this.
I've always had aspirations to move elsewhere and live in different places. I just don't see myself living in the same place my whole life. Whether I do or not is a completely different story. Regardless of how much I love or hate the vics, Melbourne is the heart of football. Being involved in football there would be unlike working in the industry anywhere else. Working at the MCG every week > working at a half-full AAMI stadium every week. I've got to be realistic and say that if I ever get to the stage of working at an AFL club, Port may not even be around anyway. When it comes to employment you've gotta look at the opportunities, experiences and money available before anything else mate. Melbourne beats anywhere else when it comes to these factors
