When the state (well in NSW/Australia anyway) kills someone then it does it on behalf of everyone, including me.

Guess you didn't watch the Joe Rogan Podcast. It's easy to believe infowars is "bullshit" because they go against MSM and the MSM push sound bites or out of context information. You want proof - look at the reasons twitter gave as to why he was banned (all 3 - ridiculous). As Joe Rogan explained with regards to Alex Jones (someone that has been his friend for 20 years) - he is news with a pinch of entertainment (how is that any different to people like John Oliver or other late night talk show hosts? they are fine because their viewpoints echo MSM. Most of those shows act like political news shows now with a hint of comedy - As Jay Leno said recently to John Oliver). Jones made the "turning the frogs gay" comment and people latched onto it - on the lastest Joe Rogan podcast they bring up a scientific paper highlighting that chemicals dumped in rivers were causing 1 in 5 fish to change sex (something along those lines) - so there is some truth to what he said. The George Soros thing and mentioning him trying to ruin the UK pound - they brought up a CNBC article saying exactly that. He brought up the abortion thing and shining a light on those in the US that want to abort babies up to a week after birth. Operation Paperclip which he discussed over a 2 decades ago (again, "conspiracy theory" - except people didn't understand that books have been written on it and CIA documents declassified). September 11 which still has a lot of inconsistencies (even Professors around the globe think so). People laughed when he mentioned human/animal hybrid embryos...except MIT quarterly referenced it 25 years ago and it's still being studied:

MSM don't like InfoWars because they don't play by their rules and are in direct competition. Now he is out of the equation people are targeting Tucker Carlson (bringing up 13 year old interviews in an effort to take him down :drunk:). If they take down Tucker it's onto the next one, on and on.

Like this "scientific racism" :drunk: that got torn to shreds. It only highlights the effort MSM (and media sources like Vox) are putting into to try and discredit people like Rogan, Peterson, Rubin, Shapiro, Tim Pool, and Steven Crowder (to name a few).

Infowars and people like Steven Crowder highlight things like Youtube breaking their own algorithms to play around with what appears where on the recommended videos or in the search results. They changed it for 'Captain Marvel' so that videos criticising the movie appeared down the list (despite having 670k views) and smaller more favourable reviews to the top. Or rotten tomatoes deleting 10k user reviews and saying it was a "glitch" - except those were reviews that gave lower ratings to the movie. Saying 'Captain Marvel' and 'Ghostbusters' are shit isn't because you hate women like some suggest, it's because people actually thought so. Wonder Woman was well received across the board and that had a female lead. It's that sort of censorship people don't want. People can call it a conspiracy theory all they want but we are heading towards Orwell's dystopian vision:

Thank goodness for the people brave enough to shine the spotlight on Jack Dorsey, Google CEO Sundar Pichai, Zuckerberg, and government officials that are doing as they please. But hey these aren't the important issues continually raised by the MSM or the good folks on social media, it's more important to complain and express outrage over a 16-year old wearing a MAGA hat or Jessie Smullet being "attacked".

No one else was brave enough to question Google and Facebook like he did. If you're okay with them selling your data, that's perfectly fine. But others aren't. If you are anti-second amendment and guns, that's perfectly fine. But a sub-section aren't. If you are pro-globalism, that's perfectly fine. But others aren't. Not everyone shares the same opinions.

Grouping them in with right-wing media organisations is short-sighted because they definitely are not. They have been very critical of Trump and republican's (especially recently with regards to his inaction when it comes to readdressing Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act). There are many layers to what is happening, and some of these platforms like facebook/youtube/facebook are playing their part in the issues taking place in society. If people are kicked off they go to gab or 4chan/8chan. You get echo-chambers of left-leaning individuals populating more mainstream platforms, and right-leaning + more radical types congregating on other platforms. That's a problem because you don't get proper civil discourse happening - just two sides feuding with one another. That isn't healthy, especially when you get people that are highly impressionable or reading post after post of the same terrible thing making you angrier and angrier. As someone said before these issues need to be targeted from a number of different areas.

Again, you may not agree with any of that but certain individuals care about different issues. Even looking past all of that, I feel sorry for those that can watch the Joe Rogan Podcast with Alex Jones and not laugh - what a miserable life that must be.
 
Are we really at the point now where we're advocating for Alex ****ing Jones?

Is that *really* the level of debate and discourse contained here?!

Furthermore if Rogan and Jones have been friends for 20 years then one or both of them have done some serious bullshitting on their show. Rogan is a known advocate for serious entheogenic drugs and Jones claims those drugs and their advocates are Satan's tools in a NWO conspiracy to turn us all into lizard's pets ... or something.

I think it's wrong on both counts - some want to die so being alive for another 50 years is suffering to them.

If he dies he can become a Martyr for those that believe in what he did.

I understand human ethics and why they can't keep someone in solitary confinement for an extended period of time, but he showed no mercy for others so I don't see why it should be extended to him. 23 hours a day in lock down, alone, no comforts - just a long drawn out life to think about what he has done and the suffering he has caused. Perhaps even an alternative to normal prisons like the one detailed in: 'Brawl in Cell Block 99' - great movie for those that haven't seen it.

An issue I see presenting itself is people offering money to make a prisoners time in jail comfy. Money has a funny way of trickling in and I've already read people suggesting on 4chan that they'd like to donate money for that exact thing (as I'm sure there are rich extremists that may offer the same).

Isn't that what MSM do now? CNN and co. cater to the left and Fox towards the centre/right. People have their audiences. Isn't it wise to differentiate themselves otherwise they are just competing for the same audience? I would have thought that is business 101.

Correct, DMT. So only people who take drugs can be friends with people that take drugs? :drunk: People can drink too and I think everyone agrees that it's probably best for him not to take DMT.

As Joe explained DMT is an hallucinogen and people do believe they've encountered alien's when taking it. Including people in the same place hallucinating the exact same thing. Governments do testing on drugs...that's nothing new. Again:

Sadly I forgot to take it off when I was riding down a mountain on a flying fox and it flew off my head. I hiked 2.5 hours up to the area where I thought it landed but I couldn't find it. A couple of weeks ago I got burnt ears because the hat I had didn't provide adequate coverage.
