So what have you done for your country recently? What charities have you worked for? Have you served in the armed forces or done any voluntary work for Rotary, the CFA, SES, St Johns Ambulance, the Army Reserve, Meals on Wheels, the Lions, Freemasonry or even Clean up Australia Day?

Or are you just a big fat blob sitting on the end of a keyboard trying desperately to pretend to be smart?

I get the racist stuff, but the coloniser stuff seems a bit lumped in. He had no say in determining British colonial policy, possessed no real political power and the British empire had disappeared within the first few decades of their marriage.

He kept British rule enforced in South Asian Commonwealth colonies during his career. He had the ability to free the countries and instead held onto them as long as possible and made incredibly racist jokes towards their people.

I would disagree that he had the ability to overturn centuries of colonial policy. His powers as a singular member in the House of Lords was seriously curtailed by two different legislative acts in 1911 and 1949. Even the Queen's power is heavily constrained and heavily dictated by parliament.

I would blame individual British prime ministers, a certain uncle and governments more for those policies. Lord Louis Mountbatten in Indonesia and Vietnam with the Southeast Asian Command (including Australian troops in Indonesia), Churchill in Kenya and everywhere else, Eden at the Suez (you could lump in our Menzies too) and the leaders involved in the Borneo Konfrontasi from 1963-66.

Man he came out with back to back amazing albums within 11 months of each other, and back in the 90’s rap albums were full albums, not the 9 track type stuff they push out now. He put his heart into his music, yeah it’s gangster rap but there’s more to it then that. He had a pain in him. That’s why some say he’s like the nirvana of rap.

He only got out of jail in 2019, a crack head with many issues, but supremely talented. It’s just sad man. So many creative talented people seem to pay an emotional price.

Some of you gentlemen (and ladies if it's applicable) need to to take a good long hard look at yourselves. The downright disrespectful comments toward the late Duke of Edinburgh are not funny or do you as individuals any credit. The late Duke did commit himself to a lifetime of Service. It started back when he served in the Royal Navy during WW2. Have any of you served your country in war? Yes, he married a very privilleged woman but a life in Royal Service is hardly a walk in the park, and I think you all realise that. His work thrugh "The Duke of Edinburgh Awards", being patron to countless charities and institutions, being a husband and confidant as well as playing second fiddle to the Queen, and his support to the Armed Forces of Britain (Colonel Commandant of the Royal Marines) and to the Australian Army (Field Marshall of the Australian Army since 1954 and the Colonel in Chief of the Royal Australian Electrical and Mechanical Engineers) deserves respect. He wasn't perfect and never pretended to be. He at least was himself and would have treated any of you with far greater respect and dignity than you are showing to him.

Of course some of you may dismiss your comments and remarks as 'just jokes'. But let me assure you that they are highly inappropriate. There's a time and a place gentlemen, and if any of you have any moral decency, you'll delete those posts.

Good to hear your 17 y/o isn’t into the rnb type stuff that’s passing for rap these days, though there’s still some good stuff coming out though. Honestly it was really weird back in the day where you couldn’t like big & pac. Biggy was awesome but Puffy ****ed up nearly all his songs by needing to get his voice in there.
