Haven't seen much of this, but if its true that is utter rubbish what they are saying. Italian football, even though I do follow Juventus, is nothing compared to the premier league or the la liga. Who cares that Italy won the world cup, they play boring short passing defensive football (although England isn't that great either, domestic comp is great).

I also hate how the news always say things like "Australian Brett Emerton has picked up a yellow card" etc Not something like, Adebayor scores a brilliant brace (if only ) or Torres shreds up a team, its like everything an Australian does has to be picked out, although I am an aussie I just think its stupid, might just be me

Fully agree..I hate it tbh. Even if one of the Aussie players didnt do jack shit in the match they get a mention as if their mysteriously invincible soul inspired a win..

Sure have, I love their version of the Beesknees.
It works out really cheap aswell, 6 cartons for around $120 bucks.

One of the clients who we deliver freight for does all the bottles for Lion Nathan brewery, so I just go and get freebies.

What is involved there, do you have to like "brew it" yourself kinda thing (I know its "UBrewit" and its a dumb question) just not sure what goes on, also how long does it take, I keep forgetting to do it for bdays/oktoberfest kinda celebrations, damn 6 cartons for 120...got like 1 carton and some hell expensive german beer called wihenstephan for just under that. Oh well my ceremic mug looks cool

It's all fairly simple. You turn up, tell them what you would like brewed and pay for it.
You then start the process with them and they look after it for you. They call you when it's done, you rock up with your bottles or you can buy 500ml cans off them and bottle it yourself.

It's a good process to get involved in as it gives you stuff to do on a Saturday morning. Otherwise you can get a keg done for you and hire it for your party.

Yep, I've just done it today.

Mate of mine was given a voucher from an ex-missus of about 2 years ago, so we decided to go down there. I didn't pay a cent and my mate has given me a carton of 500ml cans

There is a massive list of beers you can choose to brew, and you don't even need to be present (except for bottling), you can just call up and make an order then pick it up in a couple of weeks, or 2 days depending on the beer.

If you want to go along to brew the beer yourself it is pretty interesting, they pour you a beer when you get there and you can take all the ingredients and pour them in the kettle (?) as is required. Its sweet

I've not done a brew myself for ages, but I helped can/bottle one. I was in charge of putting the lids on the cans, which was the least I could do considering I was drinking his beer. It's always very nice straight from the tap.

The greatest beer I ever created during my homebrew career was my patented chilli beer.

Instead of a beer bottle you bottle the beer in an unrinsed hot chilli sauce bottle (I used one of those glass Maggi bottles). The leftover chilli sauce in the bottle fuses with the beer while it ferments and ages in the bottle.

My god it was beautiful. Not for the faint hearted though.

If I ever get back into home brewing I might work on perfecting the recipe.
