I think a contributing factor was how close to mad march Easter fell this year. So much money would have been drained from the public over the last month. Easter is as early as it can be.

Listened to a talk by Former AFL Footballer Heath Black

All about his alcohol and depression problems. Very good speaker and a good story about how football used to be and the culture around most footyclubs.

Really important that respected people like him keep talking about it.

Depression now has mainstream recognition as a very common, and sometimes quite debilitating condition. It's because of people like Heath Black that it's no longer just thought of as someone being a bit soft or having a whinge, but rather as a legitimate condition.

Next step is to have the other neurological conditions recognised in the same way. I notice there has been a bit of a push to get anxiety recognised as a proper neurological condition in the wider community as of late, which is great.
