Having read your posts, particularly your pre-season training reports, I'm sure it's logical and sequential... :D

:p Smart arse :D:thumbsu:

It's not bad though. I'm actually pretty pleased with it so far, though the format and notation changes like the weather (well, not the weather at the moment :() but hey, that's what the next two months are for!

I see I've scared everyone off with my talk of hypnopompic hallucinations

Turns out that over 40% of the population is affected somewhat regularly by either these or hypnagogic hallucinations, which are ones that happen when you're drifting off to sleep rather than starting to wake up. Many more people will experience them but only a couple of times in their lifetime (often when the person is going through a stressful period). But yeah, they're basically dreams that last a few seconds, but they feel real because you're partially awake. If anyone in your family sleepwalks and/or sleeptalks a fair bit, chances are they suffer from these dream things as well. It's also interesting to note that when sleepwalkers occasionally try to talk to people, the reason they usually struggle to form complete sentences or remember what they just said is because the functionality of the frontal lobe is limited when in such a state, which impairs short term memory.

Found all of this out while googling around, hoping to find that these weird dreams weren't symptoms of developing insanity. :p

It was no worse than anything else which came out of the pop factory known as Stock/Aitken/Waterman. All they did was churn out bubblegum pop music, which invariably sold quite well at the time.

Other famous (or infamous - you choose) artists under their banner at the time included:
Bananarama
Kylie Minogue
Mel & Kim
Jason Donovan
Samantha Fox

60's-70's fantastic... progressive....then

Disco killed rock in the 80's.

The Metal scene sold out with glam

Grunge brought rock back

Metal was reinvented

Jeff Buckley gave me wood.

Then....house music, Briteney Spears and the like introduced a whole new level of fail.

2010's....Please, something beter

Nothing wrong with '80's music - this coming from someone who has both 101 80's hits and 101 more 80's hits.

The first collection has Never Gonna Give You Up, then not to be outdone, the second collection has another Rick Astley 'song'

Just watching a bit of the Australian Masters - I had no idea prior to all this media beat-up that Tiger hadn't been in Australia since 1998. Multi-millionaire (billionaire?) golfer with the world at his feet, I would've thought he would at least have come here a couple of times for holidays over the years let alone golf tournaments. People are usually falling over themselves to come here.

I had one of these things as I was drifting off to sleep not that long ago, was a bit freaked out for a while cause I was sure I wasn't asleep when it happened but had no idea about all this stuff so you've explained a lot for me.

Yeah they can be pretty bloody frightening. One time I "woke" to see this angry looking bloke leaning over my bed and staring me in the face - I jumped out of bed as fast as anything, swearing the whole way to the light switch, thinking someone had broken into the house. Woke up properly just as I flicked on the light, and no one was there. Thought I was going nuts. :(

I reckon crap like this goes a long way to explaining some of the so-called ghost encounters as well. The other thing is that in very rare cases, it can be linked to sleep paralysis; scientists think this explains most alien abduction stories.

The mind can be such a strange thing, I can definitely see how someone who has a bit of an interest in the paranormal could really concvince themselves that it was a paranormal experience, without knowing that it can be logically explained like you have in previous posts.

I heard that a lot of those abduction stories come from when people go to see hypnotists to 'remember' their pasts experiences. Its been proven that you in fact aren't remembering moments from your past but rather the hypnotist is implanting new memories which you believe are real, hence why people can be 100% convinced it all actually happened.

There are so many strange things that can happen in this world that if you saw you just wouldn't understand, ouije boards are another pretty interesting example. It's enough to confuse the hell out of anyone.
