Absolutely and 5 flags too bootBetter? Not even a contest. KB could do everything Daicos does, except KB did it with an opponent trying to kill him every week.
Damn. Condolences to you and your family. I hope we give you a hiding, for your old man.I hope it's okay to post this here just this once. I posted it in our game day thread too. It's meant in the spirit of honouring my Dad and continuing the banter with him. He wouldn't have wanted it any other way. Good luck tonight folks.
I just want to say that my Dad, a true Tigers fan, passed away yesterday. I've been dealing with a fair bit for a while now with him, and I'm gutted right now. He said to me in 2016 that he could die happy if the Tigers could win another flag. They went crazy for him and won 3.
Now, the sentiment should be to put footy aside and wish that the Tigers could win this one ... for Dad. But Dad ... you tormented me with your smugness for much of the last 8 seasons or so. I didn't have much to offer in the way of banter during this time, and even last year when the spoon came to Tigerland, you'd laugh at my banter and then promptly forget due to the dementia.
Now one day out for what should be the crowning glory of our resurgence and Richmond being at their lowest ebb, you up and die one day before the game.
I hope we smash the Tigers from pillar to post and someone at the pearly gates tells you the score.
When your ashes are returned to me, I'm putting you on my mantle so you can watch the games with me this season, until we put you in your final resting place come spring. Now you can't avoid the scores.
I love you Dad. Talk to you at the full time siren you cheeky bugger.

Commiserations mate. I hope he’s up there with a cold one and a big smile on his face ready for the bounce. Take care and all the best.I hope it's okay to post this here just this once.
