I don’t understand the Vossy bashing, evident again with our lack of polish costing us dearly.
Too many dump kickers (Docherty, Walsh, Cottrell), dumb footballers like McGovern and then players with basic mistakes, too regularly.

Playing with 1 hand behind our back most of the time.

Couldn’t fault the efforts.

F*, I dislike just about everything about Hawthorn.

Did you not watch the game? Or any of our games for the last 2 years? You think it's 3 individuals causing the dump kicks?

It is literally every player in the team. It is the plan. Even when under little or no pressure we still do the dump long kick - especially into the forward line but also coming out of defense.

It's why we won the contested pos, clearances, etc. and lost the last 2 weeks.

We have the most moronic game plan in the league.

It is not dumb individual players.

When the game is there for the taking, we muster up 4 behinds in the last quarter.

There is a distinct lack of fight and endeavour. And if they’re all cooked with no run then wtf have they been training in the off season.

We are a dump kick specialist team. Surely no one is stupid to coach that tactic so I can only assume we have a dump kick disease running through the club that engulfs the decision making of so many of these players.

It’s a shame we play the eagles and not the Roos in round 5. Reckon the Roos will beat us and we’ll be 1-5 after 6 rounds. Then the media department can try to spin the 30 year celebration rubbish.

All this scapegoating Voss is embarrassing. No coach in the country would get this team winning. What is Voss supposed to do about Docherty dropping a disgraceful sitter at a critical moment?

The problem is list management failure. They allocated too much cap space to Curnow and McKay in the belief key forwards are the most important assets ever, and left our list in a state with zero good small forwards, and C-graders making up 1/3 of the best 22. We are far too dependent on a handful of good players, whereas Hawthorn have a consistent spread of quality across their whole team.

What good is winning possession at a stoppage if your only available options are consistently under 2m away and unlikely to be in motion, nor blocking for each other.

Mind-blowingly shit football, because while they're definitely not planning for that, they're absolutely not recognising the personnel issues creating an exhausted and disenfranchised team.

Hawks are the benchmark at the moment and we matched them for 3 quarters but ran out of puff in the 4th. That’s where we are at right now. Much better effort than last week. Still lots to work on.

I will say this for the billionth time. We have zero ball movement ability, unless TDK OR Cripps rampage we do not know how to move the ball. Our inability to strong together 3 or 4 possessions together on instinct is appalling and primitive.

Long since past the point where honourable losses were acceptable, not good enough the time for changes is now.

Curnow miles away from ready, Fogerty getting a game as a small forward purely on pressure when he hasn't kicked a goal in 2 years is a dead set joke he should never play again.

No one in the front half gets a pass mark get them all playing VFL next week and give us a look at anyone else we aren't beating anyone without goal kickers.

I love that Fogarty wants to have a crack, but way off the level
