Those premature Duncan obituaries are looking pretty foolish right now.

As we have seen today with Duncan, with Mullin, with Bews, with SDK, if you play to their limitations (be it leg speed and age, inexperience, skills, trying to mark everything) and they stick to the system they make life difficult for their opponents and bring out their best attributes.

As long as we don't expect Dunc to be the midfield version from 2011-2016 and instead accept that his tank has dropped off and he isn't as fleet of foot as he was, that his ball use is elite and an absolute weapon be it off half back or when he had time and space to hit Jezza for his 6th.

Also welcome back Jezzas bags, look forward to 3 weeks of 5s/6s/7s.

Not all 300 (next week?!) gamers dominate VFL. Mitch likes the real stuff.
