Wilkinson is a chance elsewhere, probably just lacks a little height, but that would be his downfall.
DeResario is a fair footballer, would be a fringe player at the clubs you mentioned though I think RDFLBoy. Not totally sure on the on Wylie though.
Brown would be the one player capable of a senior game regularly with other clubs.

Yeah I agree with DeResayro and Wilkinson, although Wilkinson suprised me so much during the year. Had the big task of playing of Meldrum in the last round, I dont think meldrum saw the ball that often... Brown would need to go in harder if he wanted to play a better grade. Wylie is very much underated, the kid can play though. Can see him being the next captain...

Am interested to hear the goings on at Macedon over the off season. Hear they have some money this year. Will be interested to see who coaches them, and who they can pick up.

saw that game meldrum kicked 5 or 6 from the ruck aginst wilkinson while the other big fella connellan played forward all game and finished with about the same. didn't think the b&f result was a suprise at all. from all reports meldrum finished with double the votes of 2nd (carroll) but as you said, he probably had it won before he went away. RDFLBoy who will coach the cats next year?

Very early to say burra... From the reports I have been getting, a local who basically owns the whole of macedon has been given the job of finding a coach... he is currently in talks with a couple of guys, one who retired from the AFL last year...

You seem to know alot about Romsey Burra, whats the story?

I'm only new to this site but i can tell you that i know Helmers will not be at Macedon next year and does not have a brother that just got out of prison and Kilmore are looking at a number past players coming back to their club and also picking up ex afl player shaun charles

I dont think Helmers will be at Macedon next year either to be honest...
Have heard Kilmore are looking to get back Linton Kemp and Robbie Whittmar, is there other ex players they are looking at?

It is confirmed

Lee James will be at Greenvale for next year

Dont know where he will position up with some

big talls in A Grade and with Paxman in the team

how can you confirm this, what's he been offered. it's only october to early to be confirming that sort of talk. i'm sure that he will fit into other sides easier than greenvale with quality players such as paxman i'm sure james will fit in nicely into the reserves.
Remember you can offer anything to anyone he has got to get a game in the seniors to be paid, I know of edfl clubs that offer about 30 players big bucks each year knowing that only 22 can play leaving the others in the reserves

Believe Kemp is a bigger show to line up at Wallan, and Broadford are keen to talk with Wittmer (they're cashed up) - Ryan Straney is another former Blue who's name keeps bobbing up in conversation, and a source from the KFC has mentioned they're keen to talk with Nick Redenbach from Broadford and Damien Barton and Robert Inness from Seymour.

Has anybody heard if trentham are considering coming to the rdfl i have heard that their league clubs are in are not happy with all the traveling and that they need to travel 2 hours to play some games
An 11 club comp would be great for the league and all clubs giving players a chance to recover by introducing a bye

It would be good to have another team in the RDFL because it is a very small league. The only problem is that Trentham gives the teams a bye and who wants a bye. Doesnt it get cold up there as well

Bacchus Marsh will be playing in the RDFL within 2 seasons. You heard it here first.

Look Out For Hede and Hardiman to dominate rdfl standings next year both coming of a big year of football hede playing a pivotal role i assumption college title defence this year both players like the hardball with hede having blistering pace and that sixth sense around goals and hardimans crucial stoppage work and ball getting ability both should boost kilmores chances next year and with more key recruits on the way Kilmore for 06 is the word

Go easy there young fella, you ACK boys do stick fat hey!!! Have seen both players mentioned and believe they do have some way to go yet, and to assume they'll dominate RDFL is a massive call . . . . should try and get a game and then a kick week in week out for starters.

Be careful mate a lot of experienced football people do take some of these pages seriously and use them for information. So they might tend to open up and say what they really think. I speak regularly with Mr. Carroll thru both cricket and footy seasons and cant recall either kids getting mentioned much for footy. From memory a young Hede from Eastern Hill CC seems the "take me bat and ball home" type if things aren't going his way. Maddison is still very raw, growth spurts will kill him for another year or two

lol yes a young Hede but he has grown and matured alot as he was playin senior cricket at 14 yrs old... n now is a more relaxed sportsperson... hede was a premiership cricketer and footballer for ACK in 2005... one of the mainstays of the cricket batting line up and kicked two goals in footy grand final... but fair call to say a "take me bat and ball home" type a few years ago. Hede the son of Kilmore Great Bernie will surely be a regular in a much more improved kilmore side next season

this is maddison here and i hardly even think i will play senior football next year at kilmore i had nothing to do with the post by vantheman and thanks for your input doona although im 6'1 now so i dont see any more growth spurts coming netime soon. i had nothing to do with the posts.

While I do agree that Kilmore are looking like likely improvers next season, I dont think they will be the only ones... Next season is already starting to shape up as a cracker with many sides improving thier lists and a couple of the stronger sides losing some key players.. The next couple of months are going to be very interesting for the RDFL, the league is really picking up... Hopefully we can include another one or two more clubs. Would only strengthen the leagues position I think.
