Griffin + Gorringe/draftee would cost minimal, fills depth roles and can look to use higher picks on a forward via trade or draft. still confident we could land Durdin so i don't want us to lose that first rounder.
If we get Durdin it would be the greatest heist in afl draft history. He will go top 5
but lycett hasnt signed yet.

I remember everyone was saying Brodie Grundy was a top 3 lock and he ended up sliding to Collingwood at pick 18.
It was pipedream when I hoped Port would pick him with our first pick (7).
Obviously I'm happy with Ollie Wines, But the point I'm making is you never know what can happen.
Let hope you are on the money.I remember everyone was saying Brodie Grundy was a top 3 lock and he ended up sliding to Collingwood at pick 18.

Im not really getting the whole, why would X come to port to be our 3rd string ruck.
Redden would slip back to third string if we got across an, even slightly, experienced big man.
Redden is a hugly unknown quantity who may never play more then 20 games. Injuries have set him back, isnt proven etc etc. he might just be potential and never get to the heights we are hoping. Right now he has proved nothing.
Lowden, Giles, Griffths would be ahead of him right now in the 22!
There's no way the Crows would pass up Durdin if he's available at their pick, it could be just like when they pinched Brodie Smith a few picks before us.Interesting podcast from Cal Twomey. Mentions Durdin and Goddard may slide and speaks about Josh Glenn. Also a second article runs through the talls of this years draft.

That'll be fine as long as we continue to win out in bringing the talent home like we did with Ebo & Polec. As long as we finish above the Crows then there will be a 'pinching' every year.
where do i sign up for Darcy Moore?
