Grinded it out really well late in the day in tough bowling conditions. McAndrew finishes with 40 wickets for the season, Doggett with an 11fa in the match.

Would need to see cracks appearing in this pitch for me to be fearful of not chasing 270. Thought we batted better in the trickier conditions on day one, so no reason to think we can’t be better than Queensland now.

Very doable. Don't have to be stupid at all.

We bowled poorly, but he's as good as a middle order bat.

The turning point in this innings was dropping Clayton on 43. Tough chance but Manenti has held onto those before.

He comes in at 8 for a reason and averages in the 20's. Poor bowling allowed the ton.

I love your optimism, but nearly 30 years of batting collapses has scarred many of us.

But 30 years of Redbacks being Redbacks is a hell of a culture to change. I want to believe. I really, really do. I just can't trust them. Not yet.

I've been watching closely the last few matches and checking scores. Whilst I see where you are coming from you have to take into account this is a final and a reasonable score. It's not super hot tomorrow either and will be breezy.
Still could go either way.
