A cunning plan. I suspect you pocketed the bails and the stump was a decoy. The security guard should have done a full body searchIf it was me I would have brought a stump and done the switcheroo on them.
Mate that’s not a stump!A cunning plan. I suspect you pocketed the bails and the stump was a decoy. The security guard should have done a full body search

8 years between posts on this thread, comes on to call a choke. Not a single post about his stupid call and the subsequent victory since then aside from a couple of comments about the stump. Turns out there's quite a few snipers on this forum.

this is a bit of a strange bump tbh
Nope, he didn't like it when I called him out for his "choke" post last week, so I gave him time to see if he'd post anything positive about the win. Not a word from him. What's "creepy" (lol) is someone not taking an interest in a cricket thread at all, until an opportunity arises to be the smug naysayer.this is a bit of a strange bump tbh

Liam Scott wins the Neil Dansie Medal.
Apologies accepted.
Haha, funnily enough met him and had a decent old chat with him last week, very good fella… strangely his red ball batting record prior to the Tassie home game didn’t come up in conversationAfter that rev up from Firewalker Scotts season went from strength to strength. Have no doubt one of his motivational speeches to Murphy would turn him into a Brownlow medalist

Or 2Now for a bowler.
I found it weird that since 12-month State contracts came in why they can’t actually increase the number of games these ‘Full-Time’ cricketers play in an Australian domestic season?
Don't forget they lose 2 months in the middle of the season, while the BBL is being played.I found it weird that since 12-month State contracts came in why they can’t actually increase the number of games these ‘Full-Time’ cricketers play in an Australian domestic season?
If I’m a state association I would certainly want more service for paying them over those 12-months then what I’m getting, they aren’t relying on ground availability anymore and because the weather in Australia usually stays ok & dryer for longer than other countries there is no reason why domestic cricket in this country can’t be played mid-September through to at least the end of April.
Only thing is it’s probably some bureaucratic situation that CA would want to avoid because the players association would want a new CBA with even more payments.
The only ground availability situation currently would be in Tassie with Bellerive, but North are unlikely to be still playing there for much longer. All other states have grounds they’d be able to use; SA - Karen Rolton, WA - the WACA, NSW - Cricket Central, Vic - Junction, QLD - AB field.Don't forget they lose 2 months in the middle of the season, while the BBL is being played.
If they keep playing into April then they run into problems with ground access, given that the AFL season usually starts in late March. Similarly, AFL & SANFL finals are played in September (sometimes into the first weekend in October).
