Apparently Vozzo isn't going to Adelaide, and thank god for that. The way he handled the Rioli situation and also got the Tim Kelly trade shows just how good he is at his job.

The thing that really grinds me is that they always refer to it as "the traditional season opener". They only started this around 2007/2008 and have had a couple of subsequent seasons where they split the opening round and it wasn't played until wk2.

It's a crap fixture as at least one team has been garbage since they started it. I'm happy for Richmond to open as they are the premiers, but give us someone else who will actually come to play.
