After being angry at football all week due to the farce against the Bulldogs and having to go through another phase of lockdown because the premier of another state can't get their act together, watching Gold Coast put one over Richmond in Melbourne (after being forced into playing a "home" game in the city of their opponent), was utterly glorious.

Our seasons not a complete waste now

This is the low point of our season.

In 2017 it was round 9, a heartbreaking defeat against the Giants, our fourth loss in a row, three of which under a goal.

In 2019 it was round 13, with three 30+ losses heading into the bye against the Crows, Cats and Roos.

Last year it was round 4, getting smashed by the Saints.

After each one of those games it was hard to think of us being a premiership chance, yet here we are.

No doubt this year has had a few low points - being ruthlessly smashed by the Swans, Dees and Cats were all pretty demoralising. We are now clinging onto a spot in the 8 with patchy form and an unsettled lineup.

This is where we turn it around. The challenge has been set. We will make finals. We will give ourselves a chance. That's all we need. We just need a sniff. We know how to win, and we will. Get on the bandwagon - this is the most fun time to.

Yep, this. It notifies them when you quote them, but they don't have a full right of reply on an opposition club's board.

I dunno…I shouldn’t have really included us in the reply because it was less about our chances and more about how I don’t think you can ever really write Richmond off. I think they could plausibly win it from 8th if they get most of their players back.

I could see them finishing the H&A season below us but end up surging in finals, is what I meant

yeah for sure, it was more that King had a go at them for wanting to try and inconvenience the Blues a little bit, cause it was meant to be Freo’s home game.
