Richards and pick 55 to Sydney.
Pick 19 and 51 to Essendon.

Got to say I'm pretty happy with that.
Balances out the Cole deal in our favour beautifully.

If we can get Haynes for pick 40 done, we have had a good week.

Would have liked him to stay, but given that he wanted to go, its a damn good trade.

Can hardly believe we got pick 19 for him. Sheeds you are the Master.
I dont think this one will bite us.

With the amount of shyte floating around i dont know wherever to believe something or not so it was refreshing to see the post by Longy413.

im stoked.

pick 19 for richards is awesome.

i think we should use our pick 39 - to trade for someone decent, along with bolton, bullen or haynes.

then we use 51 for F/S for neagle...

Is that possible? If so, that might be the reason we did it. How does 39 + Haynes for Richmond's pick 24 sound? :)

"tell me about bolton, apparantly dogs are that desperate."

Bolton is a underrated gun, always dominates kouta and goodes, you gotta give essendon at least a first round pick or a slab used to celebrate his departure.

my bull******** detector went off at the word 'underrated'. if sheedy wants to get rid of him, that tells me all I need to know.

however, since the word is we are interested, what are his pros and cons?

Pros: Trains hard, runs all day, will win club time trials, good bloke, can tag Goodes, Pavlich and Kouta.

Cons: If not one of the above things, ********ing useless.

He has a go......but he's can't seem to play KP very well and he can be pretty soft sometimes. He's got a good engine, can run all day......but doesn't have explosive pace. Doesn't really have a definite position, which hurts him.

I see Bolton's AFL future.....running around the ground in a fluorescent yellow jersey ala Peter Cransberg and Judd Lalich. If there was a draft for AFL runners, he would go at no.1. Anything we can get for him is a bonus.

ah. we have one of those already. ours is the advanced 198cm model called Daniel Bandy.

Ahh, I've heard of that model.....we also have another you may know of...he's the uselss idiot with cr@p disposal model you traded us a few years back called Mark Alvey. Wouldn't want him back would you?? Would except a DairyBell Cholocolate Milkshake as a direct trade. Has to be dairy bell though...

I wanted him to stay but i'm happy with the trade.

Very keen to see if we hang on to the picks or go for a big name.

Bolton is on a decent salary so if we offload him we'll have even more $$$.

I thought we'd be lucky to get 19, don't know how we managed to upgrade pick 55 as well.

i recon sheedes has done pretty well again there. good luck to teddy was certainly warranted in his decision to leave. happy with pick 19, but could be worth ontrading it for another player due to the weak draft

It's not possible from I believe.
We have to use our own 3rd Round pick for a father/son. That was already commited last week when we decided we would take Neagle.

Haynes will be going to Richmond for pick 40 providing they can offload Tivendale or Hall somewhere.

If that happens I'd expect us to on trade pick 51 for a player and that would give us - Pick 7, 19, 39 (Neagle) and 40.

I think the only change to that would be if we get something for Bolton (which is likely) or Bullen (unlikely).
