As much as I can't stand the bloke, he is a fantastic coach and only has a year to run at Geelong.
I suspect he's got unfinished business there though.

Do we go with established assistant/previous/current head coach?
Is Leppa/Caracella too close, i.e. comfortable?
Fresh blood new ideas???
Which ever way we go, Dimma will always remain a legend of the game and has the right (even if it pisses us off) to go out his way...

Run a process and pick the best person based on merit. Not their name, reputation, gender, ethnicity, religion, cultural background.
Just get the person they think is the best for the job — exactly as we did with Dimma.

I reckon it's time for Blake Caracella to throw his hat in the ring, we all heard he was one of the main reasons we won in 2017, let's see if the Dimma nay sayers were correct.

Essendon haven’t really set the world of fire since he returned it he was good as everyone seems to claim they should of been top 3 the last few years or at least had the main job himself at Essendon

Time for a revolution at the club. Sack Gale, sack the board, leave the AFL. Give the "tiger" name to Tazzy.
I want an anarcho syndichalist collective everyone at the club takes turn to act as senior coach of the week. Where Thursday selection decisions have to be ratified by a special by weekly meeting by a simple majority. But for club related, big decisions a 2/3 majority.
