No word on Hookesy yet, but it's horrible what has happened.

I hope he pulls through and that he hasn't passed away; I'm waiting for the official word that he's ok, but TheWackedYak sounds like he knows he's on about.

Thanks for everything you did for Australian, and particuarly Victorian cricket, DH.

I can understand you anger, however nothing we now do will reverse what has happened.

Let all talk about justice and retribution at a more appropriate time. Doesn't mean I dont agree with your senitments though.

No he is SCUM, a fight outside a pub, a fight can easily be stopped before a guy ends on life support, to do this sort of damage you would have to be seriously laying in rather than just trying to defend your self or ejecting someone. People dont end up on life support from a couple of warning taps.

but news like this normally takes an hour or two (due to notification of family and friends first) before it reaches media outlets.

The word was he was "king hit' from behind, and hit his head when he fell. This is feasible. Not defending the scum thug pr!ck, just saying what has been reported.
