So happy for the bloke, and for the lazy $100 I chucked on him at the start of the season. My only concern is that with all the hype surrounding Naitanui, the judges will fail to be able to look past him and his ridiculous haircut to see how well Trengove has already been and how consistent he is. Let's hope he keeps up the amazing work he's already been doing, can't believe how good he is after 5 games.

A SUPERB 39-possession game from Tom Scully has earned him this week's nomination for the 2010 NAB AFL Rising Star award.

Scully, who turns 19 this Saturday, was taken by Melbourne with the first pick in the 2009 NAB AFL Draft and has played every game this year for an average of 21 disposals.

Anyone find it odd that the jumper in the photo is red? Why did they feel the need to edit it?

Hopefully he churns out another 39 possession performance against the Eagles on his birthday.
