Surprised at calls for Ainsworth. Thought he was very good today. Plus our backups didn't play WAFL so can't see many coming in less its returning injured players.

Would also think Ainsworth stays over Ah Chee too on current output.

I’m done with Jetta.. Time to give Frankie Watson an opportunity.. at least he’s defensively minded first which is an obvious attribute required for playing in defence. sure he has the occasional mistake offensively but he’s been in the best royals week after week and jetta needs a rocket...

It was a strange move bringing in a clearly underdone Venables. It could have cost us today. I said a couple of weeks ago after watching him play his first WAFL game back that he needed a month in the WAFL. He is class when fit, but he's nowhere near it. Also unconvinced about the impact of Ah Chee, despite that clutch goal. He looks sluggish and seems to lack endurance. So unless he's taking strong pack marks, his influence is limited.

controversial and harsh but think Ainsworth not only did some great things but it was tarred by some shitty disposal and this week against the pies we need to strengthen our second tier midfield.
