First quarter was crap. Played like an under 12 side with no footy smarts at all.
Rest was good although I thought the GC shot themselves in the footy by playing too many in the back half and making it easy for us to pick them off at CHB.

Very nice to get a good professional win. Gold Coast aren't totally hopeless, they did beat Carlton last week. If you let them get a run on they can be dangerous.

Some of our individual players were fantastic.
Stringer - just dominant, the role he's playing for us is perfect for his skillset. Great coaching.
Draper - Hard to believe this bloke has played like 20 games for us was fantastic today and gave us first use all day. If he stays fit will be a dominant force in the ruck sooner rather than later.
Parish - another great game from him.
Redman - Very good game from him and his disposal was beautiful at times.
Ridley - Intercepting extremely well and his typical great disposal. That last mark he took in the 4th where he just reached over past the Gold Coast player was just taking the piss.
Merrett - just kept doing Merrett things all day.

Its pretty exciting knowing that we've got Tippa and Cox waiting to come back, Langford and Caldwell not too far away.

I think we probably are the 8th best team this year all things considered. So if we end up playing finals fair enough. Our best is still a few years away though I reckon.
