No fake toughness about Ward. He's just as tough as Kerr or Waters. Worth every cent for GWS.* A leader already and he will be their captain in the next few years. Can see him becoming a Lenny Hayes type player.

*Don't know how much he's on so that could change my mind. However there is much more to the value of a player than just on field performance.

No kidding. If I were Hayes I would be absolutely filthy with whoever posted that, comparing Hayes to Ward.

They are both similar players are they not? Obviosuly Hayes is 10 levels ahead of Ward ATM but they are both tough players who go hunting for the ball but don't produce many highlights.

Hayes is one of my favourite players of all time so I know how good he is and how important he is to the Saints. Just thought they had similar game styles.
