My two highlights:

Jarrod Berry briefly joining in the crowd chant.

The end of the video, where after the celebration there's a business-like - 'Go straight to the meeting room now'.

On to next week.

What we did 2017 - failed to execute any game plan

What we did 2018 - executed a game plan often though rarely for an entire game

What we did 2019 game 1 - executed two game plans over the entire game. That is massive - we started with a plan that, had we kicked straight, wasn't too bad. But then we changed plan based on how the play was unfolding. Our players changed what they were doing and executed the new plan near enough to perfectly.

This is massive. The teams that win are those that are flexible and responsive during games. It shows how much education and learning has occurred in past few years. It also shows we should have faith in fagan's tactical nous.

I think you've hit a very important nail on the head here. This is a reason that makes the lid off but hovering somewhere near the cumulonimbus cloud line. The potential in this side is arguably better than any other in the league and the fact they can already adapt and learn (and have an excellent coach calling the shots) is extremely exciting. Finals this year will not be a surprise at all if they can play to some semblance of their potential.

The concern is consistency and whether or not they can stay grounded. The Lions should easily account for Norths but this sort of expectation and favouritism is not something these kids are accustomed to at all.

There's plenty of footage that can be used to help them stay grounded. Unfortunately
