Yeas, Easter doesnt really fit in to well for me. I unfortunately will be missing out. Never seen a game in Melbourne before either! Any of you Gun clubbers going to some other games over there this year? Should be able to make at least one! :thumbsu:
 
No, I'll be staying in Adelaide during Round 1. I might go and see the Port vs Geelong game, just go along and watch it and not barrack for anyone. But hopefully watch Geelong hand Port a third straight 10 goal thrashing at AAMI. And also one of my old classmates plays for Geelong.

I'll be at AAMI to see our round 2 game later this month. Hopefully 40-42,000 will turn up. It will be a good game and I think its time to finally beat West Coast. I head back to Tassie 2 days after.

I'm also planning on going to see the Hawks vs Crows game at Aurora Stadium at Launceston in Round 4. I've seen all 3 our games in Tassie before, we won 1 and lost 2 others by not so great margains.

Was thinking about going, but too much going on here (for me) over Easter to head over.

Definately going to the Richmond game (queens birthday long weekend), and almost certain going to the Essendon game late in the season.
 
Turns out management at my work (Harris Scarfe) want to talk to me about not being able to work stocktake weekend cuz ill be in Melbourne for the game :mad:

Its worth the trip IMO:thumbsu:
 
^In regards to working.....can you believe the lads at my work got asked who would like to volunteer their time on Good Friday :thumbsd: to help make the Hot X for the huuuge order we have the following morning. You can guess the response we gave our franchisees. :D
 
Looking forward to this one. Introducing my girlfriend to this great game and club of ours!

She said all she knows about AFL is that "they tap each other on the bum":(

I could tell she was getting into it a bit during NAB cup, trying to make sure she doesn't look quite as bad on the big day:D

what a great way to re-pay the loyal victorian based faithful with a telstra dome opener....

my sisters 21st the night before and haves cousins, aunties and uncles all making the trip over....listen out for us at the VIC bar (coventry end, level2 behind the goals)...

if no-one volunteers, standard practice is to roster on the people that most recently joined the franchise.

Seriously, gonna be a loose weekend, hopefully start a few fights etc

Firmly believe anyone who is not a paid up Christian shouldn't get the holidays at Easter. :p
