Those planning to VC Neale should make sure they have a non-player from a team playing after him to make their C.
I don't have Neale but was set on going Petracca (vc) and Macrae (c). Then I realised that my only certain non-players after planned trades played for Geelong and North and couldn't be used for the vc/c loop. I would have still had the same problem if I could VC Neale.

Probably will go either Lloyd or Danger as VC into Macrae (C)

Trusty old Captain Conroy for me if Neale goes well.

Was going to do Neale into Grundy, but realised to do this I'll be using the Bailey Williams loophole.

Surely he won't be named.

Surely.

One bank's a 137 from the VC Gull, right?

Even though in this crazy season it's likely others will go well past that score, the likelihood of falling well-short is higher than likelihood of gaining much.

At least that's my mini-chol assessment.

You would take it if you DON'T have Neale as a C option.

I have Neale and did exactly this but i am still rolling with Lachie as Captain against a rabble in QLD.

Anyone taking gull VC over Neale?

Probably. When I have less bourbon coursing through my system I’ll see whether I can take “safe” banked Gull points or whether I need to swing for the fence. I think 137 is a solid C score. Could easily be beat, but is a guaranteed non disaster. Who knows if Anderson hugs Neale all day down to a 60. Similar has happened before.

So a bit of homework after almost a bottle of wine:

North v Sydney – Parker (113), JPK (93)
North v Hawks – Titch (143) , Worpel (133), O’Meara (54)
North v Dogs- Macrae (90) , Bont (55)
North v Bombers – Zerrett (68)
North v Richmond - Dusty (100), Bolton (102), Lambert (89)
North v Carlton – Cripps (85), Walsh (140)
North v Adelaide – Keays (59), Crouch (82)
North v Geelong – Danger (89), Duncan (101), Guthrie (124)
North v Melbourne – Oliver (137), Petracca (160)

Probably missed some names, but somehow against our rabble of a midfield, opponent mids struggle to score against us. I count 3 scores that would top the gull with Oliver the same.

But then again it's Neale.. who's only scored less than gull's score 3 times this season.

At the end of all that still NFI what to do.. back to drinking it is :'(

Don’t have Neale, Macrae. Gawn is out and Grundy looks tired.

Might go new recruit Fyfe into new recruit NicNat (against Hawthorn rucks in Perth).
