Just need to get some bench depth now...
Team will be:
BACKS: Goddard, Fisher, Suckling, Deledio, Enright, Gibbs, Adcock
(Heppell, Toy, Howard)
MIDS: Mitchell, Ablett, Pendlebury, Swan, Murphy, Boyd
(Prestia, Mzungu, Jacobs)
RUCKS: Cox, Petrie
(Z Smith, Lobbe)
FWDS: Riewoldt, Sylvia, Higgins, Goodes, Franklin, Okeefe/Cloke/Pav/Chappy
(I Smith, Richardson, Tippett)
- Move Petrie to the rucks with Smith on bench
- Sandi -> Lobbe who becomes 4th ruck bench
- Matera -> Okeefe/Chapman/Pav/Cloke
- I Smith becomes F8 along with Z Smith from DPP with Petrie
- Next week Puopolo -> Suckling
- Adcock / Heppell to B8
- DPP will now back up midfield instead of Prestia, Jacobs or Mzungu.

...problem is i cant get callinan due to have too many out for rd 16....
any other downgrade options with good JS??? i dont mind spend ing a tad more like 150kish???? like a howard or something??
....could also go smith > lobbe...

But Callinan will only be on the bubble at Round 17 (Crows bye R16). Originally, I was planning on trading Howe, Mzungu, Lynch or Prestia to Callinan come R17, but trading Didak would free up (marginally) more cash. I was probably going to trade him for a more decent F7, anyway (unless I.Smith can fill the F7 role...).
Also, downgrading Zac Smith (or Leuenberger, my R2) to Lobbe seems to be popular at the moment, and I can see why. Maybe wait till next week, when he's on the bubble. No guarantees of games, either, when Brogan comes back (he's only retiring at the end of the season, right?).
Thus, two questions:

Gram has a BE of 45 odd and I think he can still avg 85 for the rest of the year.
It will leave me with 5 trades and $90k, might go Prestia/Mzungu to Callinan after his bye to cash me up for finals and allow me to go from just about anyone to just about any Hawk I don't have for any GF I make!!

Could trade someone like McEvoy straight in or burn 2 trades and trade in Lobbe and then trade Lynch to Petrie.
Leaving me with 3 trades left for the season and team of:

Am holding on to Sandi and Rioli for now. Rioli is only missing two matches, and as I'll be odds on to drop my round 17 match due to having a couple too many Hawks (Hodge, Franklin, Rioli, Puopolo, Bailey) and the onther one is a bye, won't cause me too much grief. Sandi I can bench for now, and look at other rucks in round 18 as well.
Another change of plans in trading this week.
This week:

Watson -> Ablett (to re-finish midfield)
My rucks will be fairly weak, but I've basically been playing Smith by himself all year (I've been stuck with Jolly, Sandi, recruit that doesn't play), so if I have 2 rucks playing I'll be jumping for joy.
Will leave me with $157500
After Adelaide bye:
Either Atley or Lynch -> Callinan (to give me around $270000)
Tape -> Fisher
Will leave me with 3 Saints in the backline (Goddard, Fisher, Gram) but seeing as their byes are done with I don't mind.
That's as complete as my team will come this year, can't do anymore.
Been a really disappointing year, I'm about 3 or 4 upgrades short of my goal at the start. Ah well, I'll try and make the best of it.

I doubt I'll make it past the first round of finals considering my luck with DT this year.

i'm doing 1 trade this week. watson to pendles. Pendles has no more byes so it made my choice easy

Ablett will remain consistent with Boyd for the remainder of the year IMO, so i would take him purely because he has no bye, and will get an extra 100 odd points overall out of him.
It would only be an extra 100 points if you had no cover.
For people with Swallow/Smith/Hibberd/Heppel etc the different is probably more like 40 points. And Boyd may pick those extra 40 points up as I think he is probably capable of an extra 5ppg on ablett.
But either way both are good selections
