Getting in early....

Prestia/Mzungu to Callinan

Bartel to.... someone decent. Redden? Shiels? (I already have Swan, Pendles, Ablett, Murphy and Boyd)

IDK... is Bartel still good, or is he only good... for me to poop on?

Watson -> premium midfielder. Will have to see who I can afford.

That's the only trade I want to make, but if Jolly isn't named I'll probably go:
Sandi -> Goldstein

I'll wait another week on Callinan, who will be my last downgrade.

No trades this week, I also have Bartel but he is the least of my worries to even consider trading him out.

no trades this week

only changes to my team will be Goddard replacing Mzungu and Yarran replacing Cox via Petrie MPP

was thinking about getting some cash by bringing in Callinan... but his 2nd game is this week, then crows have a bye... no point burning a trade now when it could be needed for a LTI

Got a problem with Sandilands and Watson. Going to wait on the injury diagnosis on both of them though

Option 1:

Prestia --> Callinan
Krakouer --> Thompson

Option 2:

Prestia --> Callinan
Curnow --> Mitchell

Which is the better option?

Option two, just

Lower to Brichall or Fisher (I gave goddard and suckling)

Mzungu to ROK / Silvia / I. Smith

So much for my well thought out plan of last week! Chuck it out the window.....

Revised plan after this round is to slip Fyfe out of the midfield and push him forward a bit earlier than expected and then bolster my midfield with Ellard -> Swan and Foley -> Boyd.

Sandilands -> Gorringe to back up my Smith.

I am considering J.Tippett which will give me Tippett and Lobbe in rucks to switch with Petrie which is a decent option (Can play Petrie + Lobbe in rucks in any given week) if Lobbe continues to play which he could do. I think I'm pretty set on Gorirnge though because if Cox doesn't play Lobbe/Petrie will and if Smith doesn't play Gorringe probably will so basically ultimate coverage.

That trade leaves 277k to use when I want. I will probably use on getting SJ for Richardson when he is dropped again and move N.Riewoldt to my 8th forward to be used in rounds 15, 16, 17, 21, 22 and probably every other round ahead of Z.Smith too.

Sandilands has to go now. Thinking him to Tippett and Darling or Matera to Petrie.

Will then have Cox and all the Suns as rucks - Smith Gorringe and Tippett. Try and use Smith and Cox as much as possible in the ruck and use Petrie as a forward.

Going in for surgery on foot ligaments - back if they make finals

Makes things interesting. Can't afford McEvoy this week without making a downgrade trade elsewhere and not particularly fond of getting Goldstein leaving me with 3 NM players including 2 potential rucks, causing me grief later this year.

Not many other ruck options I presume...

If Sandi is getting surgery then I dare say a lot of people will be saying goodbye to him this week, including myself. Will probably just do a straight swap for McEvoy, didn't grab Smith at the start unfortunately.

Got Callinan this week and had to start him with Franklin Riewoldt and Mzungu out and he did me proud.

Defence needs upgrading, so Heppell to Fisher looks good for this week. Would eventually like to upgrade Hibberd too.

I dont know, I just dont know.

This weekend has ruined me. Watson and Sandilands damn you !!

Might go Sandilands to Kreuzer and Watson to Mitchell. Leaving me short of upgrades to my completed backline. Will have 4 trades left after this week and need to get Heath Shaw and Sam Fisher down back to finish off... Aaaargh.

the sandi dimela (made worse with the west coast bye this week)

i have cox, sandi, smith, tippet (petrie)

1. do you directly trade sandi to goldstien/mccevoy/kruzuer and down grade smith for cash (at some stage) using two trades

2. down grade sandi for cash, play cox/smith/petrie in the ruck, use the cash to upgrade backs/forwards. use two trades depending on number of upgrades. (for this week i.smith would be replacing petrie as 7th forward)

is lobbe a good downgrade target even though he was a replacement or just go to an 82k rookie

questions questions questions

Have the same issue with sandi.

Have cox, smith, sandi, j.tippet.
Foolishly traded Petrie just prior to his decent form.

Sandi>lobbe would ^bank to $300,000 allowing 3 x prem def upgrades over coming weeks. Cox & smith would be starting rucks.

Otherwise sandi>Mcevoy/Goldstein which would leave plenty of firepower on the bench.
Cox, Mcevoy/g'stein, smith & j.tippett

Favoring lobbe to cover this week & plenty of $ for upgrades elsewhere.

5 trades left so I'm going to have to keep Sandi on the bench for a bit, and use his cash for upgrades to Gibbs/Heppell during finals :( Callinan would be a good pickup after his bye but it would leave me a little thin on trades

Sandi > Lobbe this week to leave me with ~320K and 10 trades,

then in coming weeks Howe/Richardson > Callinan followed by some backline upgrades, such as Hibberd/Stanley/Heppell/Lower to Suckling and Fisher, leaving 7 trades for injury and sideways trades during finals

I've narrowed it down to 3 possible double trades this week:
Sandi -> Medium ruckman around $300000
Watson -> Pendlebury

Watson -> L Ball (to be unique)
Sandi -> McEvoy

Watson -> Griffen (already have Boyd though)
Sandi -> McEvoy

Leaning towards the first option, but picking up McEvoy is very tempting. I have Z Smith and Jolly though, so if Jolly is named I might go the first option.
