For the love of god, please bring Morabito in. He's had, what.... about 4 great games in a row for Peel? Let him put the number 2 back on. Taberner will come out for Silvagni.

In: Morabito, Silvagni
Out: C Pearce, Taberner

RTB does not change much. clancy pearce needs a run, so either he plays a full game or is replaced by Morabito, Sheridan or Crozier. Sylvia looks slow to me but i think he will get picked especially against his old side. Taberner was played out of his normal postion (good experience though) and will be replaced by Silvagni. If Mcpharlin is fit he will come in. I like sutcliffe's run but lacks body strength so he could be a casaulty if match ups require it

Pearce (Danyle) got a lot of ball but his use in tough games is concerning. He turns it over, misses easy shots. I feel he gets a lot of ball because the opposition pay him no mind.

Morabito ideally plays a similar role. Is a bigger, more solid wingman, with a longer kick.

I'd be tempted to bring in Morabito for Pearce.

sylvia has done nothing to excite me.... Clancy Pierce playing the same role would get more possessions and maybe more goals

No he wouldn't have. Sylvia was playing HFF for the time he was on and no as much as I like Clanger he would not be a better option. Sylvia played really well in the time he was on the ground. You saw he got subbed didn't you?

8 touches in 3 quarters is concerning.

No it's not. HFF has been the graveyard of players at this club and everyone seems to want to drop whoever plays there each week, whether it's De Boer, Suban or Sylvia. Did you see the game or are you just looking at stats? He was influential in every contest he was in. It's a really tough place to play in our team as you never get much space and you're constantly getting squeezed between the opposition defenders pushing up and our mids. There's not too many high possession HFF's in the AFL for that matter. Cyril is considered one of the best in the position and he only racks up big stats when he get's a run in the middle. As I said it's a low possession position and you have to judge them on other things like pressure, presenting and making the most of your opportunities. I'd struggle to say he didn't at least give all those things a fair crack today.

Can't agree with this bit. But seeing the next game is in Darwin I would go:

In: Apeness , Griffin , Mora.

Out Sandi (rest) , Sylvia , Clarke (rest)

I watched every second of the game and was impressed for the first half, he floated out of the game after that.

Lol Pearce got in the best, which game did you watch? He leads the AFL or inside 50's and is an important link up player for us.

I wouldn't mind seeing Griff get a game in the next few weeks. Clarke isn't setting the world on fire, a week or two at Peel might do him good.

Always hard changing the team after a win.
Tabs out McPharlin potentially in based on what Lyon said during the week.

D Pearce starting sub next game.

We should , If we cannot squeak over the line against the Dee's without them , then we don't deserve top 4.

Big risk in resting players. Don't know if Ross would do it. Mind you Pav has not kicked a lot lately and griff could probably hold his own

And probably our last chance to see if Apeness or Morra will add anything come finals

PU-Leeze. Young KPF played in the back line without regular senior players around him down there. Give him a break.
I'm not with people here. Thought Taberner was quite impressive there tbh considering he's never played there since we drafted him. Shows he can play multiple positions which is fantastic going forward. Probably an out for next week certainly but the only way you can judge Taberner here is positively as 2-3 hours he may have not played defence in his life. Who knows he may have not even played there in juniors. He's an AFL quality KPP without being a star once he reaches his potential, but he's not ready to fulfil it yet.

I apologise then. Look mate I'm not saying he had a blinder, but he was solid in a tough position to play. He was on the bench for a large portion of the third quarter. A heap of the second quarter, first half for that matter, West Coast had the ball down their end. You'll see Pav was quiet today, Ballas didn't rack up big numbers despite 3 goals. We hit them on the counter and did it well until we could get some centre breaks in the third quarter.

He was alright. I know he got subbed but my take would be that it was tactical to get Clancee as the loose man. If we need a scapegoat for putting in a bit of a ho-hum shift today in patches I've got a few to get you started that I don't think actually played that well today.

Ibbo - (-) Very poor decision making at times. Hoped he would have improved vastly since the first week he came back to the bigs. (+) Was played out of position.
Z.Clarke - Not sure what was going on with today. Might have been carrying an injury.
Taberber - Obviously was wretched. Also obviously isn't a KPD.
Mundy - I thought he got beaten pretty comprehensively by Priddis considering the lack of support Priddis had around him and how many extra runners Mundy could use to get free. Not his best. Also a jet so he gets a pass this week.
Crowley - first time Shuey's beaten him and a number of the times he got off the leash were damaging. Or at least they should have been. Needs to tighten up. Did get a knock early in the game though.
