Someone had to be dropped from the backline to fit McGrath in for team balance. You can’t go into a game with 8 defenders plus Heppell, just doesn’t work that way. Kelly has been ok lately but what exactly does he offer? Not sure he has been the best lockdown player so far this season and with ball in hand he’d be the worst in our side just about so makes sense really (especially after BZT’s decent game on the weekend).
