50 game milestone for both Flynn and Brockman coming up this week. For those obsessed with arbitrary categories we're about to get 33% more experienced in the critical 50-100 game category. Will be massive for us vs Richmond the week after.

Controversial:

No changes

I doubt they'll drop Cripps, agree with your there. 250th game.

Kelly could potentially happen though, as could/should Hutchinson. Champion and Jilliams vulnerable too.

There's definitely going to be a couple changes IMO.
Yeah there probably will.

I can picture McQualter wanting Owies in tbh.

So maybe Owies for Malakai unfortunately

For those suggesting Kelly is 'disinterested', that's not the case at all. He's just not as fast as the 20 year old kids he's chasing now. Same with Cripps. If they get dropped again, it will be because of that, or because a genuine forward option is banging down the door at WAFL level, not because of effort.

Only if the plan is to sub out one of Cripps or Kelly. Not much point having all three of them with Ryan and Brockman.

Am I missing something with this 250th thing, some kind of meme? He played his 250th last year, is up to 265. Believe me every single one of them is tattoo'd into my soul and burning like hot coal

You won't read this coz I've been "blocked" due to talking sense too much - but it'll be his 250th for the Eagles.

If you could use your other brain cell for 2 seconds you’d be able to work out it’s his 250th for the club.

Maybe it's time we give Livingstone a go...See what he can actually do at the top level.

I'm confident he'll offer more than Flynn around the ground.

Ins - Gross, Chesser, Livingstone, Cole.
Out - Flynn, Duggan, Cripps, Kelly.

* I realise this is most of our senior bodies out but we need to make a statement re selection.

That would be a reason IF he chased anyone.

In fairness, he did have one absolute belter of a chase in the first (or possibly third given the direction of play but I think first), where he was on the hammer of a defensive rebound run and handball that started from within our own 50. Started relatively deep, chased past the wing, then to the next guy in the chain, then to third guy in the chain. So from within our F50 onto the paint of their D50.

Not saying it changes the world but he certainly still has some very good chasing in him, I just think most people have run out of patience so will really hone in on the ineffective ones and make out like they’re every time.

He’s didn’t have any impact, I’ve got him as an out, but it’s really not looking like an effort thing when watching at the ground.

Much like bagging out Tom Cole, kicking Tim Kelly is a popular pass time for those frustrated with the team.

It's what happens when Andrew Gaff, Alex Witherden and Jack Darling all depart in one off season.

It's the whipping vacuum.

Or maybe, just maybe, we're bottom of the ladder, had a terrible game and a senior player played like shit and people are just saying what they see.

It looks like I'm an outlier but I think people are being harsh of Hutch.

I can recall at least two times against GWS that he put himself in harms way, back into a pack, without a flinch.
Yep - His disposal needs work but he's doing blue collar work and we still have bigger problems.

It would never happen but I see merit in swapping Flynn for Livingstone. I would just give basic instructions of preventing opposition hit out to advantage and following him around the ground. Don’t bother winning the tap, just attack and neutralise as many contests as possible.

It could not be any worse than what’s happening right now.

Ahhh to some extent?

Don't get me wrong, Kelly had minimal impact but I think sometimes the blinkers go on and it's smash guys like TK because...that's what everyone else is doing.

You know who was completely unsighted and offered us nothing (at all) when he needed to step up after kinda bottling it against Collingwood too?

Jack Williams. Hence he was dragged at half time.

Not much of a peep about his game.
