After a successful Round 1 in the books we turn our sights towards Round 2 and what a round of matches we have in store.
It all kicks off on Thursday Night at 8.05pm with the Roosters coming off an impressive first up win against the Bulldogs who will be smarting over their loss. Look out for the Thursday Night Match Discussion Thread once again and join in the conversation.
Friday two quality matches starting with the 6.00pm game between the Warriors and the Storm getting the night started. Both are coming off wins of differing quality but with the Warriors historically having the wood over the Storm in Auckland this should be an entertaining game.
The 8.05pm game is the Queensland Derby at Suncorp Stadium between the Broncos and the Cowboys. The Broncos are backing up off an impressive first up win, while the Cowboys are coming off JT's crossbar challenge golden point win.
Super Saturday starts at 3pm in Newcastle who showed they are an improved outfit this year up against the Titans who only showed up in the second half once the game was gone.
5.30pm see two of Round 1's disappointing teams meet with Manly who were on the defensive the entire game yesterday meeting the GI-less Rabbitohs.
7.30pm sees unlucky losers the Raiders open up their home campaign against the Sharks in a repeat of last years finals meeting between the two club.
Sunday 4pm sees the Wests Tigers off a strong Round 1 win play the disappointing Panthers in a Western Sydney derby at Campbelltown.
To finish off the Round we head to Wollongong to see surprise packets the Dragons take on the Eels in a Sunday 6.30pm game
Look forward to everyone's thoughts and selections for the Round ahead
Will bring team lists and other relevant info as it comes to hand.
