Grundy is an absolute freak. Is going to be held in the same regard as Dean Cox when his career is over. Wills himself on the contest like a 185cm contested mid. Needs to work a bit on his decision making and centre bounce work but that will only get better with time. He's really worked on his tank over the past few years too and he's now able to outwork most other rucks.

In terms of who's most valuable he already is. Outside of Cox we don't have another ready to go ruck.

That if today's results go as expected, we would still finish the round with 7 teams below us on the ladder also on 0-2 (including Hawthorn and Sydney... two top 4 teams first two opponents both matched ours for difficulty.)

That the sky isn't falling in.
All these 2 rounds have shown us is we look on par with the last 2-3 years (which yes, in itself is a big problem): we have some very good runs of football (and some attacking runs that seem a big improvement on last year), and can match up against the reigning premiers, but that our efficiency is still shit and we still have those sustained lapses in concentration that allow the opposition quick, easy goals.

Plenty of positives...chin up people. It's only round 2.

Disposal across the board is a strength, as shown second half of last year, it will improve...it won't be the norm. Everything else is working fine.
