That is what one of my mates said on the way home tonight from the game... He's pretty much right, nothing has changed. Where is all this big improvment from our youngsters. Morton, McMohan looked more like Richmond players then Tivendale did.

JON, Tambling, Jackson, Casserly and alot of our others kids looked lost while our mature aged rookies have are too slow, hardly upgrades of Howatt. Richo, Deledio, Newman, Foley, Brown, King were our best, just as they were for most of last year.

Tonight changed me. I use to be an opptimistic Richmond supporter but now I have seen us without the rose glasses. Terry Wallace needs to be accountable. If we win less then 5 games this year he has to go. FFS, we came out and probably played with us close to a full strength side we will get all year and we played the Saints B team and got smashed in almost every aspect of the game:thumbsd:

Jordan McMahon what a dud...I can't believe we traded for him & he's getting paid $400K a year...makes me sick:thumbsd:

Get a life, its a pre season game

It means nothing, the rules are stuipid, 6 players on the bench, try and rotate everyone around give them a run

Things will change when it becomes "real" footy

Sure it will...

In 5 weeks time our players will suddendly become 200% better, will put on weight, will gain skill and will figure out how to tackle....

We played a St Kilda B team at almost full strength and were dominated:thumbsd:

I was quite shocked I thought he was a lot better than that but he seems fits into the team real well with no skill at all.:o

ah forget about it guys. its all about gearing up for the real stuff. we are not going to challenge this year anyway so who cares if its another learning year. the real important thing is we need to get a settled forward line and a settled back line. no cohesion tonight. polo and cogs back in the middle will help too, not to mention thursfield up back. positives were kel moore, king, newy, casserley showed a bit. they got a game under their belts and no injuries so who cares, just need better disposal and a working forward line....

Problem is, we wont be ready in 2011 either.

It wasn't just a loss DT we got smacked by half a reserve side, now that's a worry.

I knew it would be like this on BF.

It was our first hit out, I'll wait to judge us once the real stuff starts but I will say, things don't look great.

Come back at Round 9 and lets see how things are going...

Once again, I dont care if we finish bottom 4, if we see geniune improvement in the 2-3 yr old draftee's and for the others who have been there 4-5+ years (plus others)!) who haven't delivered, well its Coburg bound and then bye-bye!
