Couldn't fault the effort for much of the day, but we were bettered by a more seasoned side.

Hustwaite with a nice debut.

Go at it.

Couldn’t get past their defensive wall. It was always going to be an issue with Lewis/Ryan out.

Loved the signs from our younger players. All of them showed a lot of good signs. Denver flying at everything & Hustwaite kicking 2 were my personal favourites.

Thought a few of our senior players didn’t perform as expected today.

We did have a crack. Couldn't have expected to hold up as well with HH, Ramsden, Long and Serong playing today, as well as DGB and Kozi as the main forwards. .

All I can add is that Melksham has a punchable face.

Result aside it was a great showing from what would probably be the youngest side we have fielded all year.

This was DGB's breakout game as a forward IMO. Ran out of steam but there is so much to work with. That 2nd quarter was WOW. Should have been paid an extra couple of marks.

Reeves had the better of Gawn.

CMac with another (almost) 20 possession 2 goal game.

HH great on debut.

Tried hard.

They got the rub from the umpires, and the rub from the bounce, and we gave up too many turnovers from which they capitalised.

As soon as Lewis was out, followed by Jai, it was going to be uphill. A fair effort from our boys against a strong team with something to play for.
