I would encourage all members and supporters to boycott this final game, its not about throwing a hissy fit and not supporting the team, its about sending a message to the board and the powers that be that they are wrong and need to make changes starting with Ken. If anyone thinks that making finals by proxy is any sort of achievement then go to the game and be apart of that fallacy but if you have had enough of this merry-go-round of garbage then send them a message, make them seriously think about the protest you want to send them.

We've had s**t crowds in good conditions consistently all year...

The club doesn't care.

Sacking a coach with 2 years running is still more of a spanking to our bottom line. Even though I agree it's the right thing to do.

No doubt, not being able to get over 40K to the Geelong game is an example of this, should have been 50K.

As i said, getting Sub 20K (and setting a record low) is something you cant hide behind.

Far from a spanking to our bottom line, it'd save face with most members and would prevent the club from losing in excess of a million dollars from members not renewing for next year.

The club were never going to sack Ken midseason as long as finals we're possible. The 3 clubs who did waited until top 8 was virtually out of reach. I'm holding onto hope there will be a press conference Monday after the Freo game.

a crowd under 20 will send a few shock waves, and dont say they dont deserve it, imagine the sweat pouring off Kens head with a crowd of 20,000 and Freo being 4 goals up in the last quarter

I stopped looking at flights when the horrible time slot was announced.

I suspect the club would have a feeling it’s going to be ugly next week

Isn't the annual budget around $50m? What's $1m to save the club?
I'm any case Koch the phoney Port supporter (No one ever saw him near Alberton in years past it's curious when he ever actually started being this mad crazy port supporter) is responsible and should foot the payout himself

But he's an imposter, just as Ken is

What we need is we need all the people who have gone behind the scenes over the last month going to sponsors and potential sponsors and have asked if they will support them to roll the club over, we need them to come out the make a statement publicly.

Their holding half back on radio shows isn't going to change anything

Was obvious our crowds would fall anyway after the honeymoon period of Adelaide oval.. regardless of form. Our fans are fickle and always have been.. they have an excuse now though
That's unfair, our fans and not fickle, we've had a dozen years of trauma. That they are still coming shows the fans are terrific

They already sent our a few emails about free entry for kids i think.

But tbey are hearing us, Keith Thomas said as much in his "Norwood flog" message to the members and fans. They are hearing us but probably can't afford to pay Hinkley out. But surely now even Hinkley can see the writing is on the wall. He now has to do the right thing by the club and announce his retirement either this week or after next week's game. I'm quite certain the club won't be renewing his contract again so it's a matter of when, not if. Again, hopefully Hinkley steps down this week so to give the club time to find a replacement for next year. We are still a chance to make finals but I couldn't care less either way. In fact, if we were to make finals Hinkley would probably say he's justified in staying on. So correction, for this year only, I hope we don't make the finals. Hope the Bulldogs do.

Not sure what the budget is built on. When you're in debt like us every dollar matters. 1 Mil this year, 1 Mil next year, this isn't chump change. Aren't we low on cap spend because we cant afford it, not because we are eying someone off ?

But that's just membership revenue, that doesn't factor in the impact poor crows has on sponsorships.

Dogs win today we can tentatively schedule that conference for just before the start of our game next week. I’d love to see that happen, even if we pulled it at the last minute...

Dogs go on to beat Cows next week we’re already done, conference goes ahead, and Ken gets the rest of the afternoon off.

Otherwise we’d need to beat Freo by “roughly” 20 or more points than than the Cows beat the Dogs. Now Freo may be emotionally checked out after farewelling Sandi and Balla at home with a disappointing loss but who the #%^* are we to speak of an emotionally checked out group?

I’m ignoring ridiculous outliers like a draw or the Hawks pumping WC in Perth. Because those clubs have a long way to go to be anything like Port.

This is just it though !

He won’t sweat because we are an inconvenience, we are noise he has to wade through to get paid that’s it

He grins when the rank n file give him a serve on match days like he’s knows something we don’t (spoiler he’s doesn’t )

People that might be board members have posted in here saying there’s “been improvement” he will continue to be supported at that level

They’ve blamed it all on KT who is literally the LEAST culpable

Make no mistake we ( those who expect more than 9th and supporting the boys lifestyles) are the least relevant to this club now than at anytime I can remember.

It’s dire I am scared for where this is taking us in ways I never was during the Primus/ 70% Skype Laidley days
