People that boycott, are downhill skiers, support your team, or your just a bunch of sooks

At this point it's enabling the team, not supporting the team. Rocking up as a paying customer to watch us play next weekend is like lending your junkie son money to buy meth.

LET ME GET THIS STRAIGHT. You think a boycott organised on this website can make a meaningful impact on crowd numbers?

Yes or no. Answer me dumb c**t.

I used to post but have elected not to from a few weeks ago. However, I visit BF daily.
What you have not considered is the total number of non posters that read big footy PA, religiously. For every one poster, there are hundreds of non posters.
Both you and I do not know the total of game day attendees who also read BF but it would be a significant number.

So the answer to your question in IMO is (most likely) ...... YES

If you want a reply from a person (and one who happens to be a good poster), its best not to be abusive in your question to that person. In doing so, you will not be considered an ignorant moron. Just teaching you some manners that your parents forgot to do.

Won't be there. Not traveling 3 1/2 hrs to watch a dead rubber between two shite teams and another missed finals. It was on the calendar but accommodation cancelled after the Bulldogs loss.

Hey - you realise I’m replying to someone who opened with calling me stupid, right?

Can we please stop pretending this isn’t an idiotic and juvenile idea? Let’s say a thousand people read this page. How many are actually going to change their IRL plans because someone had the idea of a boycott? None. Zero. It’s just...so stupid.

We know why numbers and memberships are down. The natural attrition that comes with an underperforming and mediocre team.

Well in a way you are right people are boycotting in their thousands anyway so there's no need to organise anything.

We've had s**t crowds in good conditions consistently all year...

The club doesn't care.

Sacking a coach with 2 years running is still more of a spanking to our bottom line. Even though I agree it's the right thing to do.
Have you actually attended a game at AO this year? All bar 2 games have been affected by weather. I have slipped on the plastic pants on over my jeans 4 times this year. I have only had to do that 1 other game since we moved to AO. I have worn an RAA freebie hand out poncho for several games and taken my rain jacket to most games.

After the hottest summer on record, this has been the coldest and wettest lot of home games in a season, since I returned to Adelaide 9 seasons ago.

If someone of note from the club happens to read it, it may have some kind of impact. You never know. Most people here are hard core members.

50,000 people rocking up all with decent sized protest signs with words like like Piss off Hinkley, Sack Hinkley, Koch for Syria, Cos Cardone to North Korea, KT to the APY Lands etc might have more impact than only 10,000 rocking up.

Can't do a PR spin job on those sort of sentiments.

I will trudge in with that same deflated feeling watch a pile of festering mouldy poo then walk back to the car muttering sadly to myself while my boys ask why....

Same as most of the games at AO over the last couple of years....

Might take out a second mortgage and buy the guy behind me with the hot sister a beer. They good people.

I would encourage all members and supporters to boycott this final game, its not about throwing a hissy fit and not supporting the team, its about sending a message to the board and the powers that be that they are wrong and need to make changes starting with Ken. If anyone thinks that making finals by proxy is any sort of achievement then go to the game and be apart of that fallacy but if you have had enough of this merry-go-round of garbage then send them a message, make them seriously think about the protest you want to send them.
HEY!!!

I should be the one writing the preview this week! :p
