I can't see Vlastuin getting a game this week?
The loophole should be used to perhaps get that one player that no-one would pick captain.
That's why I'm leaning towards JJK. Could kick 10 and score 180+ ?? If not then you just go back to perma captain Ablett/Watson
Edit: or it could just be used by deciding between premiums, i.e this week JPK looks a good bet this week to get VC and then Ablett C

Never done this loophole before... might try it this weekend.
Only issue is the only 2 players I have that didn't play last weekend (and possibly this weekend) are the two I was thinking of trading out this week

Do you think it's worth leaving a non playing back rookie on the bench like Docherty to keep doing the VC loophole trick or is it better to just trade him out for Luke Brown this week which will generate me more cash but sacrifice my VC loophole.

If it was me i'd trade him(Docherty) out and bring in Brown. Getting that extra bench player scoring for you and thus earning you money to make an upgrade quicker is more important in my eyes then maybe an extra 10-20 points a week you may pick up at this time of year with the loophole. Because lets face it, sooner or later you will trade Docherty out, you dont want a non playing player there for too long i would assume, while every other player is appreciating in value, he will go eventually. Every now and then a player will miss for you anyway due to a number of reasons(Suspension, general soreness, injury etc) so that is where the loophole will be relevant to you again. Its not as though if you get Docherty out this week, your whole year with the loophole is over

trade him out for Luke brown - one donut saved equals one lucky captain choice, the cash generated will then equal about 6-8 lucky captain choices

As Currie is my only non playing person it has to be someone on Friday night.

So its out of
Watson (likely to get Crowley) - anything above 110 will be a win
Goddard - anything above 100 will be a win in a tuff road trip
Barlow - looking likely as my vice captain choice (hopefully hocking goes to Mundy or Fyfe)

then to decide if Ablett in the rain against Raines is captain or Pendles against the hawks??

any thoughts from the wiser people??

Only player I don't have playing is a Sydney player (depending on teams named) so Heppell or Goddard for VC. Lyon might put a tag on Goddard so thinking Heppell at this stage.

Just looking at Goddards scores at Subi going back to 2006 might change my mind.

Avg of 112 including the injury affected 57. Take that out and its up to 119. Still liking Heppell
