Proud of the way the boys fought the game out. Lots of mistakes and poor skills but they stuck at it.

Cook and Webster need to play every week, fantastic in the games they've played this year.

Clearances were very good, as was the tackling.

Black and Matt Carr had shockers. Josh has had a poor month.

Mundy and Crowley played their best games of the year. :thumbsu:

Those with foxtel digital just found out during Mundy's chat with Banfield that Johnsons nickname is Spanky. :D :p  :D

Matt Carr had shockers. Josh has had a poor month.

Matt was good, done the job on Goodwin who barely touched the footy.
Happy with Josh as well, on the bottom of the packs at every single contest.

Dodd and Hayden, as well as McPharlin deserve ALOT of recognition. Especially Hayden and Dodd who don't normally recieve it.

Hayden was extremely good for you guys. I think he might of prevented up to 5 goals and definitley made a huge difference between the two games.

Matt's been doing a good job shutting down opponents, but his hands and his foot skills were shocking today. I get nervous every time he gets the footy.

Josh would have probably had less than 20 possessions, which has happened the last 3 or 4 weeks.

Has anyone heard Dodd speak before? Does he usually sound like Terry Wallace or does he have a cold? If I wasn't looking at the screen I would have thought they were talking to a 50 year old who smokes 2 packs a day!

Hayden was brilliant, Dodd not far behind.

While Matty Carr held Goodwin well he was shocking when it came to his disposal.

Pavlich has to be carrying an injury, never before have I seen him give up on a contest especially when the game is tight so late.

Top game congrats freo...keep chasing those eagle dogs..Well done crows boys..losing reilly at the start cost us i think..

Intersting to see what your club did with the farmer indescretion on the day eagles are fronting the afl over player behaviour..

More frustrating than the loss or the umpiring was the COMMENTARY....

Grybas, Frawley and Jako were almost barracking..what do ya reckon

Grybas seems to have a soft spot for us, we have had a lot of Sunday games since foxtel starting showing footy so he would see more Fremantle games than any other club.

Jakobitch used to hate Freo and helped Essendon gain access to our locked training session back in '03. He tries to support Freo but I think he loves to see us lose.

Not sure who Frawley wanted to win, who did he tip?

Pav hit the deck hard just in front of me early in the last and came up very gingerly. Looked like back injury to me.

Couldn't run or chase and squibbed an easy chest mark.

Matt Carr, I dunno, stopped Goodwin getting the ball but was shit when he had it and was soft at the contest a couple of times.

Are you serious. J. Carr was all over the packs today putting his body on the line. One of the many components of why we won the clearances/stoppages.

He was carrying the weight of playing on Rutten. Not easy. Two great players, good contest.

His commitment can't be questioned, but he would have only had 6 or 7 possessions in the first half. Improved as the game went on.

What about Tarrant?

Top game I reckon. Set up two goals with great vision, always makes the contest and his hitout was what got the ball to Webster for the behind. With Pav down on form today he gave us a target.

Always thought Tarrant was a soft egomaniac but he's been team orientated and hard at it so far.

Picking the best players was bloody hard. I thought our backline deserves a huge bouquet. They did all the hard work and next thing the ball is turned over and back it comes. Rodger was terrific but I had to give 5 votes to Dodd. He made some telling spoils today that should have been impossible.

During Macca's interview on ABC radio from the rooms after the game he made special mention of Webster, and I have to agree with him but I couldnt get him (web) into my top five.

Great game :thumbsu:

Second that

I didn't think he was so strong with that component in his game. I always thought he was a pretty boy glamour club forward at Collingwood. :o I have misjugded him. His forward pressure and selflessness are much welcomed in our forward line. Here's hoping that he kicks himself a big bag soon for us. Against Brisbane would be nice. :)
Obviously letting him fully recover from injuries and letting him get himself fully fit will by our clubs boon and the collywobbles loss.

All for pick 8. Bargain, despite what anyone else says.

Pav was in front of us and seemed to whince when taking in deep breaths then went off but looked alright when he came back on hopefully just bruising.Good team effort.black looks like he will need a couple more to get back into it,surprised at how well Mj played.

Got a knock to the ribs.

Guys what about Sandi's half volley pick up and snap effort (if by the way that went through it would have been on of the goals of the year:thumbsu: ) in slippery conditions with a bloke right on his hammer. Class all Class by the giant....

My face looked like  and i thought how could he do that
