Personally I think we could throw Dunman up there, Johnson or bring Kersten in..it won’t win or lose the game either way.

First Derby of the season. First one at Optus. How exciting !!
This is a pretty good test for both sides really.
We looked good last week...
The key here I think is if we can actually kick enough goals (or at least more than them!) to win....Will likely have to see Mundy, Fyfe and Neale kick a few between them....But you just never know, someone like Matera or Balla's could bob up and kick 3 or 4
I think it will close all day, then the Optus stadium surface will effect the West Coast legs to allow us to run out 21 point winners after kicking 4 quick goals in the final 1/4

No confirmations, not sure if related to players already reported as touch and go (eg JK, Yeo, Pearce) or not, but was at Peel last night and the talk was both teams have fitness tests scheduled this morning.

Also reports of fitness clouds over multiple players on ABC radio news this morning.

Well, once again I’m hungover as shit but excited for the daaaarrrrbbbeeeee. Got into bants with Eagles mates last night, booed them mid talk when they were talking about the Glendening and dropped $50 on Freo to win by 20+ (paying $4).

Tldr; f*$k West Coast, CARN Freo!!!!

It'll come down to who is the most efficient in front of goals.

We need to claim a decent scalp and beating the Eagles will give the boys confidence in doing so.

This is true, Freo burn so much energy and effort for every score while eagles seem to be able to score easily a lot of the time.

If we are kicking long and they are taking intercept marks then we will lose by 20-30. If we play smart, lower the eyes and find targets I think we will win by 20-30.

Normally I would agree. But we have a better defense this year, and if we can keep moving the ball quick we will have a nice open forward line.

Show the medal the respect it deserves. I don’t believe Ross Glendinning himself deserves to get booed for presenting a bloody medal although I must admit he seems like a bit of a flog - seems to think it’s a right not a privilege to have the medal named after him.

If we boo him we just get Channel Seven spending the whole week building stories about how disgraceful Freo fans are. Just make the ground as empty as possible when he’s presenting it.
