Thinking about the Tiges draw. Its ridiculous. Classic MCG tenant advantage not seen since it won Pies a flag in 2010.
They only need play easybeats away a Cpl of times then settle in to EVERY game at the MCG till finals.
If they were 1-5 after this round I'd still back them for top 2, and every downhill skier in that team will score well as a result.
My pooch would get a kick with that sort of familiarity.

Did my investment trades last week ...ROB and Stack in ....brought Lockhart in, not for Clark though...was for Atkins

Rationale was, it opens my DPP of Duursma to the midfield .....but also with Walsh, Constable and Stack doing so well, i preferred to carry a potential no-playing rookie on my midfield bench, rather than in my defense ...where i want to keep some bench strength

It's an ideological war is what it is!

Atkins > instead of Clark makes some sense from a strategical standpoint. Although upgrading a maxed out mid rookie to a def premo in a few weeks would achieve the same result. It might only be 30-40k more that Atkins makes this week but it will give me roughly a 100k profit after I downgrade him to Hately next round.

If he scores an 80 he’s going down to ~$470k. A 60 gets him down to ~$460k. A 40 like he dished up last week gets him to $450k. A man can dream!

No real taggers for the rest of the season AFAIK either, aside from Bowes and Steele (unless Jacobs comes back).

We also have to play a home game at Marvel against clubs that play there more often than we do.
8 of our games at the MCG are against other tennants/half tennants. Home ground advantage for us is basically non existent.

I'm feeling very low currently .....I've used 8 trades, the first 4 improved my side ....but the last 4 trades have done nothing for my team (short term)

Yes I've invested in fast growing rookies (2 trades) ......but replacing Milera this week cost me another 2 trades & that was extremely hard to take .....team is not progressing as I want

Well we have to get there first. We have 1 game at the MCG in the first 16 rounds against a non tennant club.

But this isn't the place to discuss the inequities of the fixture.
