For someone who gets some negativity about getting enough distance on his kicks, this goal and the Ryder tap- goal v St Kilda shows it's there when he needs it.
Stunning.

Robbie has an inverse relationship between success and difficulty.

20m out, directly in front, 40 points up? Flip a coin it could go anywhere.

Tight angle on the boundary, after the siren to win the game? Never in doubt.

Now this was a good game. Carlton are definitely up and about and will be on the rise quickly - they will be one of the teams that is competing with us over the next few years. You can see the difference that Andrew Russell is making to their fitness already.

We missed some pretty standard shots at goal, but I put that down to the effort that the Blues were putting in.

One of those games where I'm ******* stoked we won, because we deserved to with the dominance we showed (Dixon 3.4 tells the story)...but if we had lost you couldn't say we didn't leave it all on the park.

A true Port Adelaide performance :)

We'll lose Motlop so Mayes keeps his spot.

Drop Westhoff so Ladhams keeps his spot.

Bonner in for Burton probably.

Mayes plays regardless. He was great.
The whole back line was very good after quarter time.

Today we were let down by our wingers and forward flankers: Amon, Farrell, SPP, Duursma, Rozee (injures), Motlop. They did precious little except for the goals that Motlop and Farrell got early.

Amon’s worst game in forever.
Duursma unsighted.
Rozee, what happened? Playing without confidence
