Isn’t it funny …many people who’ve called for Ryan to never play again now go into meltdown when he isn’t selected….

I believe not selecting Ryan is about keeping the number of ‘inexperienced’ bodies to a workable
level.

In the 23 this week we will have 12 x players with 38 games or under - this is a massive amount of inexperience. And whilst Naismith only has 32 games, he’s got loads of experience. I’m not a fan of the Naismith selection, but I can understand the reasoning.

All our injuries have been a blessing in disguise because if we never had them none of the younger players would have got a game. Yze is in the same mould as Mini, just wants to play the veterans.

Pickett was actually in our bests…the job he did on Petracca was very good
