We are ripe for the pickings against the Bulldogs next week.

They will work their backsides off.

Nothing the Bulldogs like more than beating us.

And another Toby WTF moment.

Gosh we've rushed and made bad decisions when we should have time.

They killed us with pressure. That was our game in round 1.

Did we get over-confident? Do they just panic handball to no-one?

Super curious, but we're not in the mix at the minute...

A few of our best are looking off. Hope we can turn it around in the next few weeks, cause the back third of our fixture list is a lot harder than the first third.

Jones is not ready, he's had taste time to go back.
Play Bedford and Daniels as fwds and get actual midfielders in the team.
Stone doesn't like to sit under a high ball= not a fwd, maybe not an AFL player.

Had so much to play for in the lead up to this game and the effort fizzed out after 30 minutes. Worst game for the year.

Agree with many other comments.

When we came good towards the last half of the 2023 season, it wasn't so much the tsunami, it was players digging in.

We are missing grit. The hard workers.

We've got to drop some of those smaller, faster players.

Once Whitfield is locked down, our running game, as coached by Kingsley, is easily defeated.

As much as he frustrates me, XOH must be back next week along with Peatling.

Stone and Thomas omitted.

I wish we had another option for Briggs....

Those are the changes I would make too.

Honestly don't know why we've been using Thomas as the sub, makes absolutely no impact in that role.

After Peatlings efforts have no idea why he was dropped. Say what you want about skill level but effort and hard work are all there.
Absolutely right.

It's what's missing.

I'd feel better losing if our players did exactly that.

Disposal stats can be deceiving, but not when there's so many players in low double digits, if that.

Just looked at the ladder and some upcoming games.....

If we lose to the Bulldogs next week AND...

If Collingwood win tomorrow (v West Coast) and next week (v Adelaide), and both Port (v Hawthorn) and Carlton (v Sydney) win...

We are out of the top 8.

in the space of 2 weeks.

Surely not.

Edit: If Melbourne lose, then percentage might come into it, but they are playing the Eagles. Gold Coast play Geelong - fait accompli).
