I’ll excuse him for now.
He wasn’t at all a flog when coming into the draft. The exact opposite considering the hype.
But this is what happens early when you are the messiah in the eyes of a club travelling at the bottom. Throw in a two team town and you can imagine the publicity he gets over there, and the doors that his opens for him all over town.
I’m going to enjoy watching him over the next two decades. But I’m going to hate him at least twice a year.
