I don't think we fully grasp how excited people are for this game, the build-up next year will be immense. Im going and 4 of my mates are as well and they don't support either team.

Would be very surprised if Jaegar is ready for round 1. When he has made previous comebacks, his form has been mediocre.

Very doubtful Roughead plays - I heard a few of his teammates talking about his condition and treatment. It's causing him issues in his joints and other areas and he's been in a fair amount of pain. I hope he does play but his general health is more important than playing footy obviously.

Completely agree. We should be picking the team that gives us the best chance of winning and for mine Howlett probably shouldn't be anywhere near the best 22 unless there's a raft of injuries, and then you've got the likes of Bellchambers, Stanton, Myers & Hocking all potentially on the fringe next year somewhere in that best 18-30 range.

Having said that I think the club will ensure all of the returning players are at the game whether it be playing or sitting amongst the crowd.

It's tough to predict but depending on individual pre-seasons, etc. I'd say the round one team could be:
