Good to see that Easts are 0 from 2 at Allianz this year.
This is the team that spent two nights camping out at Allianz in January as part of their plan to make it their fortress, and to go undefeated in 2018 at home.

That's not correct, they beat Newcastle there on a Sunday night.

Their first loss was at ANZ.

The Warriors are relishing the prospect of playing in front of their first sell-out crowd at Mt Smart in a decade as rugby league takes centre stage in Auckland on Saturday.

Twenty-four hours before kick-off, close to 22,000 tickets had been sold for the double-header at Mt Smart and club officials were preparing for a full house to watch the Wests Tigers take on Melbourne before the Warriors meet North Queensland.

While the Storm, Cowboys and Tigers all hold plenty of appeal, there is no doubt who most people are turning up to see as the hype continues to build around the Warriors following their record start to an NRL season.

Such attention brings with it added expectation but coach Stephen Kearney says the only pressure they feel to perform comes from within.

21k+ in Newcastle and over 25k in Auckland. Crowds will continue to grow off the back of a successful Newy, Warriors and Dragons. Having the Doggies get back on track would help too.

Massive couple of weeks coming up in NZ as the Warriors host Brisbane and St George.

The crowds have been excellent, even poor time slots like 6pm on Friday got 12k to shark park, making it look fullish. In past years that might have been around 9k.

The good warm weather has helped too.

Great crowd in Newcastle.

We’ve been starved of home games in the early rounds so that helps.
