You post more, you "win".

Wowwwwwwwww. So you can post pages and pages and pages of UTTER SHIT and you get credited with a "win". Not that I'm pointing any fingers here.

I got my arse handed to me on a plate (literally) by KohPhi in one of my first wekks in my first season. He was genuinely funny, and did it in a handful of posts. Not hundreds. He won the thread, and not through nymbers.

By the way mate, you can have your plate back.

Loving the feedback in here guys. Also love the feedback I have gotten many times in PM's this season from disenchanted posters of oppo teams.

Just hope many of you are willing to take that on board at seasons end with the same dignity we have taken the feedback all season.

It's still the dumbest stat out of that collective and I felt in necessary to point it out. Calling it a "win" is stupidity.

Metrics based on pure quantity would be meaningful if you extracted only those posts made by league legends, as all our content is consistently awesome.

And the Bombers numbers could be reduced to just those posts by beez ... and perhaps Shermy.

Winning a thread is a great metric. If your team's total posts is less than that of the opposition.

Or the winner could be defined as the team closest to exactly 200 posts.

absolute difference between team total posts and 200, divided by number of contributors. The aim is to get as low a result as possible.

If your team posts 220 times using 10 posters, your score would be (220 - 200) / 10 = 2.00
If your team posts 500 times using 15 posters, your score would be (500 - 200) / 15 = 20.00
